RegShell 1.0

5 from 1 Reviews

RegShell enables you to register and unregister DLL codec files using the RegSvr32 tool included with Windows.

RegSvr32 is a command-line application used for registering and unregistering DLL files and ActiveX controls in the Windows Registry.

RegShell provides the frontend for those users who prefer a graphical user interface instead of less friendly command-line utility.

RegShell packs all the features of RegSvr32 and at the same time it makes it more accessible for average users.

This lightweight and helpful utility will eliminate the need to run regsvr32 from the Start Menu all the time. Furthermore, it provides users with a simple way of finding the Windows\system and the Windows\system32 directory location for Windows 9x, respectively Windows XP.

It is recommended to download RegShell only from trusted sources; otherwise you may install a program which is bundled with malware.

RegShell stores important data about Windows and the programs installed on your computer. It is not uncommon for this application to show error messages when files are corrupt or damaged.

Most RegShell errors are caused by hardware failure, by computer malware which modified the RegShell.exe file, by an invalid or damaged registry key of RegShell.exe or by the application being uninstalled or deleted by other software.

RegShell is a handy utility recommended to anyone needing to register or unregister DLL codec files the easy way, instead of learning how to use a command-line interface. RegSvr32 becomes a lot more accessible due to this graphical user interface.

Handy program but It will not work on files in "program files" folder. IE a folder with a space in its name.
